Hello, I have a concern that I was hoping some of you
fine people may be able to help me with. I just recently
removed a program from my computer, but unfortunately
during the time that this program was in operation it
took up a significant amount of memory. Now that I
removed it, I have noticed that I am still missing some
memory, even though the game is gone. Is there anyway
for me to retrieve my lost memory safely, and if possibly
check to see if I have any corrupted or junk files I am
unaware of that might be on my system. Also I had to
recently reboot my computer because it froze before it
even booted up, but I started almost right after I
rebooted, and I was worried that I might have damaged
possibly some of the hardware. I use Windows XP Home
Edition. If any other information is needed please feel
free to ask. I hope you fine people can help me with my
situation. Thank you for your time and effort, I truly
appreciate it.

Are you using FAT32 or NTFS?
Have you don't a disk clean-up, including purging all but
the last restore point?

How did you remove the program, did it have an uninstall
program?

I use NTFS, I did unistall it, and then use the remove
program utility, I do have a disk clean up, and I did use
it, as well as the purging tool, but I still believe that
the program may have been corrupted, or something else,
and that I may be missing a modest amount of memory, but
I can not be absolutely sure of the amount since the time
in between when I had the program and recently when I
eliminated the program, I did recieve driver and security
updates, especially virus protection updates, so maybe
the difference isn't as big as I think, but I am glad you
took the time to respond to my email. Is there anyway to
check to see if I have a corrupt file or junk files that
I am unaware of? I hope you respond soon.
