The hard drive in one of the pcs went bad.I order a new
one.How do I clone the new hard drive in another pc,all
the pcs have the same o.s.{w2k} and the same applications.
What do I need and the steps to do it.

Actually what you can do is used the software duplicator
like Norton ghost. And by the way, you can get the
software for free at download.com.

The easiest option is to use a cloning program such as
Acronis TrueImage or Norton Ghost.

If you're an expert in the Command Prompt area then you
could connect both the source and the target disk to the
secondary IDE controller of some other Win2000 machine,
then use xcopy to copy the source to the target. You would
subsequently need to restore the Win2000 boot environment.
