sir

I want to swap my C drive (10GB) with a larger one (120GB).
What are the special steps to take to do this and not lose
all my data. I'm running WINXP.

You may use a third party software, Norton's Ghost or
PowerQuest's Drive Image to make exact copy of your 10GB
to the 120GB HD. Then set the 120GB HD as your Primary
Master so the Windows boots from it.

If you do not want to spend money, you may use DOS command
XCOPY from Command prompt but you have to connect both
your HDs (10GB and 120GB) to a second computer that runs
Windows 2000 or XP in NTFS. The procedure is simple but
rather lengthy. If you are interested, I will send you an
e-mail to show you how to do it. Please let me know.

Regards,

William

Hello

Just do a full install on the new drive and then copy your data
back over. or you can go out and purcahse Norton's Ghost 2003
and clone the drive
