I installed a 250 gb hard drive into a windows 2000
workstation how ever it is only showing 128.

The BIOS show all 250 and this is harddisk0 on a machine
with a SCSI device hold all system information.

I hope that is clear I will be working late untill I fix
this

Thanks

Please describe HOW only half of the capacity is showing.

What is generating the message ?
How did you prepare the drive ?
Is this a; SCSI drive, IDE. FireWire or USB drive ?

What does this mean - "...with a SCSI device hold all system information."

The SCSI drive is the boot device the 250GB drive is IDE
and there are no errors.

In disk management the drive is only showing up with 128GB
no error messages Windows just seems to be mistaken This
is unallocated space basic/dynamic no matter how I look at
it again the BIOS is showing all 250GB

Thanks
