We have a training environment at our place. Authorized users have Read &
Execute, List folder and Read rights to the C drive. The training profile is
a mandatory roaming profile. When the training user tries to delete
something, it is not going in the recycle bin. There is no GP set for the OU
these computers or this user is in. Now, if I give the profile write access
to the C drive, the deleted items appear in the recycle bin. Is there a way,
without using GPs that I can restrict users from writing to the hard drive,
yet give them the ability to delete stuff and have it show up in the recycle
bin? This is the way our training dept wants it set up!!
