Hi, I think I mistakenly deleted a hard drive partition
when I reinstalled Windows. I haven't reformated the drive
yet. Is there a way to "reset" the drive, maybe by
overwriting its initial sectors that contain partition
information, so I can access its data.

Thanks.

If the content of the "missing" partition is of any value, whatsoever, to
you then you need to remove the drive from the computer and immediately send
it out to a professional data recovery service center.

Anything and everything you do to it is just going to exacerbate the problem
and reduce your chances of EVER recovering data from the "missing"
partition.
