Hard Drive Recognition

So, I just copied a hard drive partition on to a
different hard drive using MaxBlast. Then I reinstalled
Windows XP on the old hard drive. Now Windows will not
recognize any partitions on the copy drive and only reads
it as a 32GB drive for some reason. MaxBlast still
recognizes it has having two partitions with information
on it, as does another partition recovery utility, but
Windows will not recognize it and won't let me open it
unless I format it. Any idea why that happens? It has
information on it and it is obviously readable by other
programs, so why not windows? If anyone has any ideas,
please help. I'm completely lost and I NEED to get that
hard drive back.

I would probably install WinXP first, allowing it to partition &
format the disk, then restore all data from backup or from the
old disk. This will give you the full capacity of the disk, and
it will get around any of the compatibility issues you have
right now.
