IS it possible to take an old Harddrive from my old Pc
that had Win me on it and put it in my new pc that has Win
xp. I want to get some files from my old pc for my new one
and the old pc doesn't have a burner in it. Will this
work? If not how can I get these old files?
Probably a dumb question but I need help?

Thanks.

You can jumper the old drive as Slave and connect it ti the IDE2 of the
motherboard.

Absolutely. Just slave the old drive on the same IDE
cable as your new one. Make sure that you set the jumpers
correctly. Your existing drive will be Master and the old
drive will be the slave.

XP can read any legacy format, including FAT32, which I
will assume you used with ME. Make sure that you have
logged in as Administrator and you should have no problem.

Fatal_Exception
