Hard Drive Question

I just installed a 1609 gig hard drive, but is only
recognized as a 128 gig drive. Any suggestions to set
this right?

A hard question indeed.

Your BIOS must be capable of recognizing the full drive (an advanced LBA
translation scheme),
AND
your W2k system must have the latest service pack installed (or at least
SP2, I think. Maybe SP3?). It's been discussed here often, but the
details escape me.

Check the partitions. It might have more than one. I would fdisk it.

You need to enable 48 bit addressing in Windows 2000.
