Hello,
I believe that my hard drive has seen better days. If I
buy a new one and install my copy of Win XP on it will
Microsoft allow me to reuse my product key?

theoretically NO
practically YES
joke: it depends on how you ask microsoft

yes. one user generally refers to simultaneous use. to license two users enables them to work simultaneously in same program. if you had to uninstall xp and reinstall on same computer, same scenario as replacing hard drive.

Yes. I did this recently when my HD quit. I reinstalled on the new drive and
went through online registration. No problem.

No, the answer is simply "yes," both theoretically and
practically. You can change hardware as desired. The only thing
you can't do if you have an OEM copy is change the entire
computer. If you have a retail copy, you can even do that.

recently ran into problem considering installing windows on all pc's over
the office using one cd-key (obviously it was not a vlk). after 25 installs
activation wizard told that i have overused my key limit...

..
