How do I install a second hard drive Using XP, I set up
the master slave, but my bios doesn't see my second
drive, and windows won't install it, help please!!

Be sure to set the first drive jumper to Master and the added drive jumper
to slave; and be sure you have the data cable connected correctly. Let your
BIOS find the drives automatically.

If you BIOS does not see the new drive then either it is not connected
properly or the jumpers are not set correctly.

Note that the original hard drive may require a jumper setting if the
new drive is being connected as the slave drive on the same IDE
channel (e.g. same data cable). Some hard drives use different jumper
settings for "stand alone master drive" and for "master drive with
slave present".

The first problem is to get the BIOS to see the new drive. Then, and
only then, can you expect Windows to see it.

Good luck
