Hard Drive problem - MULTIPLE

3 computers... all three same problem within the coure of
one week. ????
Computer shuts down in middle of "working". Restarts..
no hard drive found. Vanished from BIOS. Would believe
that one hard drive could simply have failed. But three
in one week??? Anyone have a clue what is going on?
1 computer - XP Pro - custom
1 computer - XP Home - Compaq
1 computer - ME - Gateway

Custom computer will not even power up with hard drive
attached. Others will.. but no hard drive found.

There are days when all the computers that come in are the same brand. Or
three in a row come in with the identical, obscure problem. And it's a
problem that we don't see again for weeks or months. So, yeah, it could just
be an odd coincidence.
