Hard Drive not vissible in Explore - WINXP Pro

After I installed a new SATA Basic drive, I was not able
to see it in "Explore", althoug it shows up in Device
Manager and Drive Mangement with a drive letter (D:/) in
this case. Othe file managers see's this drive
(Wincommander), but not Windows Explore. So that means
opening files from that drive throug any Windows program
is impossible. HELP!!
 
Where there drivers to be installed with it??

Is this drive the XP boot drive??
