Every time i restart or turn my computer on after the windows loading screen
it comes to the screen where (somtimes you dont shutdown your computer
properly and it checks the hard drives for viruses) it comes up with this
screen every time i turn on my computer even though i have shutdown my
computer safe.
I am thinking mabey it is an option you can turn on somewhere or somthing
like that can anyone help me?

Is it checking for viruses or errors on the drive.. if viruses, there will
be some indication of the name of the virus checker.. if errors, it could be
an indication that your drive is failing..

hi,
If it is Win Me then u will have to get a reinstallation done.

if it is Win Xp,u can try running a repair reinstallation,if that too does
not help, the hdd needs to be checked.

It most likely is the checkdisk screen, not a virus scan...

Read here:

Or go here:

and find "Check Disk - Disk Checking Runs Upon Boot", it's about 1/4 of way
down...
