Hello, I have Windows XP Pro as my OS and have a secondary
hard drive for backup/files/etc. All of a sudden, a found
new hardware icon came up in the taskbar and said a new
disk drive has been installed. I go to browse my D drive
and it says "The drive is not formatted. Do you want to
format it now?" I right click on it and see that it is in
RAW file format, 0 out of 0 bytes available. In my System
Error log it says something about a hard drive Controller
Error. (I'm not sure of the exact message, I can check it
at home and post it in detail if needed.) I have not
modified anything on my computer recently, or changed any
settings/hardware. Is there anything I can do to be able to
browse the drive or recover it? Thanks in advance.
