Because of the HD crash I can no longer edit my website in
Front Page 2002. All the files are gone. What can I do to
remedy this problem?

Read answer in your previous post.
If you get them back... be sure to BACKUP, backup ... etc. On a CD, a ZIP or
someplace other than your HD>!!
ETC

LOL re: crying....

(I should resort to that.. might save some headaches from hitting my head
with the palm of my hand and yelling DOH! Should *smack* have *smack* not
*smack* messed *smack* with it *smack* again *smack*)

Thankfully, there's a copy on the server, if it's not hosted on the pc that
crashed. But, as E.T. Cullings mentioned. Backup off the harddrive! Or you
end up paying $200.00 for a restoration program like I did to restore
deleted files.

No, Mike, you don't have to manually copy your html...

By "publish back to your hard drive" I mean that you should open FP, then
open your live website... click on File, then Open Web, and type in the url
of your live web (i.e., http://www.yourweb.com). You'll have to put in the
username and password that your host gave you. Now, click on File, then
Publish Web, and enter the name of a folder on your hard drive (browse to it
and/or create a new folder in the browse window). Now you have it on your
hard drive again and can work locally.

HTH, Victoria

P.S. Sorry to hear about your hard drive. That's always a bummer and few
folks are ever as backed-up as they'd like to be (me included).
