Hi all,

I am looking for a software that can mantain and recover hard disks. I have
spin rite and the issue I had with my hard disk was that after switching to
a new power supply, one of my hard disks lost its partions and under windows
explorer the partitions cannot be seen. Under disk management the hard disk
is seen but its written that the partitions failed. I tried running spin
rite but it didn't do anything. Is there any other recommended software for
what I need?

Any response is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Eric

Check the website of the manufacturer of that HD; they should have a disk
test utility that you can use to verify that the raw HD is OK. That utility
won't fix the partition tables or the filesystem info that FORMAT put into
those parts, but I recommend verifying the raw HD first.
