I have two hard disks: 1-80GB Maxtor 2-40GB Maxtor
On the first one I have a WinXP and a REDhatLinux. On the second I have
just some data.

When I start my computer, the BIOS detects Hard disks both.
Unfortunately, when My WinXP starts do not detect the 40GB hard disk.

What do you think about my problem?

Is it visible in Disk Management ?

That's usually seen when the file structures
etc on the hard drive have got corrupted.

Insufficient information.

What file system do you have on the 40 GB drive?

Is the second drive visible when you boot to Linux?

Was it ever visible? Under what operating system? What did you change in your
drives' configuration or hardware that may have caused that?
