I've had an SC 101 basically sitting collecting dust since the release of
Vista RTM, because NetGear's software does not support Vista, and at this
stage I see no forseeable support in the near future. Frankly, their
software was never very impressive anyway, even causing XP to panic and blue
screen when I enabled Driver Verifier. I write device drivers, so when
things don't work I tend to start looking for reasons why. The dump file
confirmed it was the SC-101 drivers that caused the XP crash.
I pulled the 2 Seagate 200GB drives from the 101 and am looking at HDD
enclusures for them. Has anyone had any problems with either the CoolMax
3.5" or 2.5" USB/1394 on Vista?
