i have ASUS p4p800 motherboard, can it support 250GB or grater HD? also i
remember it can only support SATA 150, but now a lot of large HD are using
SATA 300 interface. will SATA300 work on SATA150 port? down-grade the speed
is ok.

thanks

yes
you may have to change a jumper on the drive as detailed in
the (drive's) manual

You must have an OS that supports >128GB. WinXP (SP2), Win2K (SP4), and
it might require a simple registry entry change.

No SATA drive now made can exceed the SATA150 interface speed, so you
won't lose anything if you have to jumper the drive to SATA150, as kony
mentioned.
