Hannging on shut down

Ever since installing, my PC hangs on shut down with a
blue screen message saying that it cant shut down
properly. the only solution is to physically shut off the
PC. Any ideas?

Technical information reads '...***STOP: 0X0000000A
(0X000002DC, 0X000000FF, 0X00000000, 0X804E3B58)...'
