I have a network of 15 machines in a peer to peer network,
1 machine has xp home and the remainder xp pro.
Many times the machines with XP pro just autoreboot whilke
accessing the internet. I have a Linksys befsr41 router
and a 16 port switch.
the system worked very well under the previous config of
win 98se.
Can you help

By default, XP is set to reboot on errors. In an attempt to source the
issue, you need to turn this feature off. Open Control Panel, go to System,
go to the Advanced tab, click Settings and remove the check from
"Automatically restart" under System Failure.

This will cause the system to blue screen instead of automatically rebooting
but the message on the blue screen may give an indication as to the source
of the issue.

Also, open Control Panel, go to Administrative Tools, open Event Viewer,
look for errors that correspond to when the event occurred, double click the
error(s), the information within may give an indication as to the source of
the issue.
