I've tried several things but nothing seems to help in this case. When I
boot up, XP PRO, everything goes great, then when I go on line - no matter
which avenue I choose, by a program, by browser (IE) or mail (OE) I can
easily get on line but then it 'hangs' ... it's almost as if something has
to go thru a process or connect or finish working before I can access any
other program, it just will not do anything until it 'releases' me - usually
within 2 minutes or so - the probem is that I can not figure out what the
hangup is...is there a site or anything that would check my computer for me
and find irregularities? or does anyone have any ideas? I've cleared
cookies, cache, temp files, rebooted, I do have a lot running in the
background (and not sure how to get them to stop) but it never bothered
anything before, its just something that happened in the last month or so..
any help appreciated
