I've had my system hang twice in about a week while
antispyware v1.0.615 was scanning my system. The last
hang was while scanning ipfltdrv.sys. Before this I
haven't had any problems with any Antispyware version
since the public beta began.

My system diagnostic report on a dual P3 700Mhz system:

Thanks for reply. I'll try safe mode but it shouldn't
matter if the file is corrupt or not. The system
shouldn't hang while a file is being scanned. Otherwise a
bad program would try to corrupt a file and have the
spyware scanner crash. When the user reboots in the
morning they'll probably forget to run the spyware scanner
manually. AFAIK, Antispyware doesn't automatically resume
the scan after a crash. It'll just run again at the next
scheduled time.

I had another hang while antispyware was scanning my sytem
at night. This time it was scanning
\winnt\servicepackfiles\i386\ipnathlp.dll. I have
windows media encoder running 24/7 doing a live broadcast
when antispyware does it's scan. I really don't know what
has changed in my system in the last month to cause the 3
hangs during scans.
