Handling date and time

I have imported tech data that was logged. I have a
column with date and a separate column with the time of
the data. How do I graph sequentially so that the data is
in time/date order.
 
Use a dummy column that combines the two

assume dates in column A and times in column B and they are really excel
date and time values, insert a column C.

in C2 put in

=A2+B2 and drag fill down.

Then use this as your X axis.
 
The following worked for me:

Format columns as Date and Time. Add both columns in a
third column and format it as Date+time. You can use that
new column for your graph.
