Hand-made CPU on a HUGE scale

Ever wanted to see what a processor would look like if you hand soldered lots of transistors? Well, someone has made one and called it "megaprocessor"... probably due to the fact that the total area of it is ~15 m2!

It features 256 Bytes of memory and was built by a single person (James). If you're interested in the architecture, you can see what happens internally thanks to a huge array of LEDs which indicate what is happening at each stage.
 
Yup, I can't even imagine how long that would have taken! A very clever way to learn about how computers work :).
