Hi, I'm also having a problem with charactors occassionally 'miming' there
words. Although this isn't a big thing, it is a blight on a excellant
product. As My hardware isn't anything unusual can I ask if MS are actually
working on finding out the reasons why and a patch to cure it?

Cooler Master Aero 7+
512 MB Kinston PC3200 DDR

A solution for now is to lower your sound settings, the problem seems to
improve drastically with sound quality on medium or low, and EAX (which is
itself buggy enough) set to off, at least for when you're viewing cutscenes.

I think you should send me your system for an extended "testing" time,
Chris. 8-) Are you running anything but the default settings on your
graphics card? I'm running Halo here on a GeForce4 MX420 and do see a
slight "mime" approach in certain sections, it doesn't bother me. You might
check to see if you've got Application set as the criteria for Antialiasing
and Anisotropic Filtering. Which driver (specifically) are you running for
the card?

Hi Chris and thx for your reply. As you say your PC also gives similar
'effects' with Halo I still suspect that MS need to look at this problem. As
for my PC req extended testing, well I guess that being a IT Techy for two
local schools suggests I might know something about PC's, however even
'experts' can miss something now and again :-). Both the features with the
video settings you mention are turned off and the driver version is 4.5.23.
As you say the 'mime' doesn't bother me either however it does detract from
what could have been an excellent product to that of a good product....
Cheers,
Chris C

Hi again, bty this is from a creative technology website and a response from
the techie, Harvey....
"I'm not working on that, but the folks who are, are beyond the patch at
this point.
It may not be a Creative thing but some of our folks are working with the
developers
to help expedite a remedy, since it does affect our products. (a quick look
at some
of the fingerpointing postings on the subject is a good indicator :-) )."
Apparently if you goto to the Gearbox forum there are many complaints about
Holo for exactly the same issues, I await another patch.
Nuff said on the subject me thinks.....

Hi all, just read over @ creative technology's newsgroup that the demo
version of this game doesn't have this issue. Maybe a patch will hopefully
be on it's way soon :-)
