Anyone figure out yet why this game keeps quitting and restarting their
computers?

I am running latest ATI drivers on a 8500 board and each time I change
settings and it goes off to test them the system reboots.

Running WinXP Pro - plenty of juice on the machine.

I assume it is a video prob but had hoped that driver update would help.

Any ideas is appreciated very much.

if you are a Radeon 8500 - 9000 - 9200 user and
experiencing random system restarts as well as an instant
restart if changing video resolution in game you need to
go to ATI's Site and download the Catalyst 3.0 driver and
then uninstall your current driver, restart your computer
and then install the 3.0 one. This has been the know fix
for at least the last week with this game until ATI and
all parties involved can figure out what went wrong
betweent he driver they used at beta and the current ones.

Dont waste your time using 3.6 or 3.7 as these drivers
also cause the same restart problem. 3.0 is known to work
use it. If you use the ATI control panel you also want to
unistall your current one and get the 3.0 version to
install as well.

This has fixed my issue as well as 99% of the 1000's of
people having the restarts. It's a rare case where no
getting the newest drivers will not fix it.

Happy gaming.
