No professional capabilities or constructive thoughts. You must be a
child.

Actually I am a child at heart, and a Sagittarius which for those of you not
in the "know" with the astrology sign stuff (and I am by no means an expert)
means I believe in having fun, and am most happy when having fun, so on
behalf of my "inner child" he apologizes for the lack of tact or good taste.

If you're looking for my "professional capabilities", I'd say I'm quite good
at making a joke, in fact you might say I could be a professional, but I
have no degrees on the subject (Though I did flunk out of clown college
once, but I was 12, and when I was flunked out they shot me out of a cannon,
so it was worth it). Actually most humor is subjective so one mans joke is
another mans torture.

If you're seeking "Constructive Thoughts", here's what I first thought when
I read your email, and I've edited my thoughts to be less funny than they
could of been.

1. ...this post contains no system information, very hard to diagnose a
problem without knowing what system he's using. (Hardware specs, video card,
sound card, mobo info, or even just computer model if you bought one off the
shelf like a Dell, Sony, HP, or whatever)

2. ...No mention of which version of Vista he's attempting to run or if he's
even on Vista, but odds are since he's not posting from the Microsoft
Discussion news server he knows how to get around Usenet, ergo, he's on
Vista.

3. Message is all in caps, he's upset and I should try to talk him down as
I've done hundreds of time on this forum already. Only thing I like better
than being happy is hearing about other people being happy.

4. More than likely he's already tried to run the game as admin (assuming
because he knows how to get around Usenet he also knows his way around
Vista, knows how to search, etc.), and has experimented with the
compatibility tab.

5. English might be a second language here, not exactly sure what he means
by, "RUNING SETUP DOES NOT CHANGE THE NEED TO RUN SETUP EVEY TIME TO RUN."
Guessing when he installs Halo, it doesn't actually Install. I've seen this
happen with some games, it has to do with Vista UAC, sometimes disabling UAC
or running the game "installer" as administrator helps, but I can't be sure.

6. Screw this, I got to get back to work.

7. I think this calls for a Format C: response, being smart as he is I'm
sure he'd be able to figure out that I'm just joking and hopefully he'll
figure out that what he posted didn't really deserve consideration for a
response simply for not following basic posting etiquette.

8. Yeah, but if #5 holds true, oh that could be bad, and I would feel really
bad if he actually did it, so I'll respond with: "I was going to make a
format c: joke, but I fear he might actually try it."

Granted I expected a rather salty response to my message, but with your
response I'd be willing to wager I'm actually "physically" older than you
are. Possibly not as "mentally" or "emotionally" mature, but given your
response to my email I'm guessing I'm at least within a few theoretical
years.

To summarize this post in 2 words:

Nuh-uh!
