had trojan virus and masterblast now slow

We found out we had masterblast virus because rpc box kept coming up scanned and got rid of it. This said it had gone but we also had trojans and although norton says they have gone our system is still running slow what should we do???

PPPPPPLLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEE HHHHHEEEEELLLLPPP!!!!!

First, are you sure you got rid of Blaster? See this page for all
appropriate steps and ways of checking:

Second, scan for parasites. Here is the protocol for doing a thorough job:

Third, your system may be in a bit of disarray after all of that. Follow out

well tried all the virus things on that site and have found no variants of masterblast, but when I tried to do the parasite scan it said that it couldnt do it because i dont have internet explorer browser, is there another parasite scan thing that will work please

If you are running XP, then you *do* have Internet Explorer and could run
the test with it.

That aside, yes, proceed to http://aumha.org/a/parasite.htm and follow the
steps there. I recommend you do at least Ad-Aware and CWShredder according
to the instructions on that page. Clean your temp caches first, following
Step 4 on http://aumha.org/a/health.htm. If the problem persists after
running the Ad-Aware and CWShredder, you may want to run HijackThis to
create a log (don't have it fix everything!!!), and post the log here for
expert assistance in finding what else is going on.

Have been into add remove programs for windows components and it says 0.0mb for internet explorer eventhough it has a tick next to it how do i get it back on my p
please
