Hi !

I want to install an application that allow me to listen and create all my
messages and appointments to my corporate exchange server by telephone.

The application is executed on a win2k server under our firewall.

1- I'll call to a 1-800 number
2- The server will respond and asking me to identify myself.
(Then he server has an account and have delegate right to my own account
access my account.)
3- It will read my email, agenda, contact list as my request.

My real question is, "Is it possible to hackers to get inside the server
via the phone line and compromise the security?"

Is there some internet site where I could find information on that kind of
stuff.

Thank's in advance.

Louis

Hacking is possible anytime there is external access. However I think it is not very
likely, since most efforts seems to be automated against always on connections these
days. The ultimate barrier will probably be your credentials [I suppose you will
enter some numbers]. You could substantially increase security if your account would
be locked out after a number of bad attempts, your access code is changed
periodically, and a log is created on access times. --- Steve
