We have vpn clients connecting via IPSec into a W2003 rras server with two
nics, one on private subnet, other on public subnet. Vpn clients are given
a subrange of private subnet and if video conferencing box is on private
subnet these vpn clients can connect via H.323 software (polycom PCX). If
vid conf box (polycom VSX7000) is located on public subnet with a default
gateway set to public ip address of rras server then get 'cannot route over
intermediate network' error from H.323 software. We are not multicasting
and yes they can ping each other
Any ideas ?
Thanks
David

Hi David ,

What is the result if you windows VPC connection instead of H.323 software?
You can create the VPC connection in My Network Places on the client side
to connect to the VPN server. Can you reproduce this issue by using WIndows
connection?

If you are unable to reproduce this issue in windows VPC connection, this
issue is specific to H.323 software. I strongly recommend you contact H.323
to get more information about this issue.

HTH!
