I'm using an old H/PC and am using H/PC Explorer 1.1 to
connect. I am new to XP and don't know how to get it to
connect (via COM 1). I know it has something to do with
RAS. Windows 98 connected automatically but I'm sure XP's
security settings make it harder. As of right now, I get
a message saying "RAS had an unknown error" when I attempt
to start up communications. I know I can get them to
connect because the H/PC turns on whenever I restart my
computer and XP polls the serial port.
