You don't. Windows XP has no DOS, just a DOS emulator which you can
launch from within Windows XP by using Start - Run - CMD or by
selecting Accessories - Command Prompt from the Start Menu.
What specific result are you trying to achieve by using DOS? If XP's
DOS emulator will not do what you need then there may be another
option.
