I'm unable to open GWBasic program..Message reads "can not SHELL to BASIC"
I am using Compaq Armada 7400 Notebook, using Windows XP professional with
service pack 2 Intel Pentium II 365 MHz 128 MB of RAM..
I am able to run this program on my desktop HP with no trouble..
Any Ideas ???

AFAIK, Windows XP does not come with a GWBASIC interpreter. What software do
you have installed on your HP desktop that interprets your BASIC code?
 
i AM RUNNING "gwbasic" which I downloaded from the previous computer I had
which OS was Win98.. I tried to transfer to the laptop with no success... I
run XP home on my desktop.. I have tried the XP compatability also to no
avail.. Earl
