Someone went into my website where I have a FP guestbook and they posted a
ton of porn links.

Is there any way to stop that?

Not really using the FP guestbook.

There are search engines that specifically look for
guestbooks and email for the sole purpose of SPAM. This is
what you are getting

The best thing to do to get around it is to get/develope is
a seperate guestbook application which utilizes methods to
prevent spamming (eg CAPTCHA).

The easy thing to do is to change the guestbook URL
frequently.
 
thanks for the advise. It was kinda shocking to see when I opened the
responses, it's a baby site for gosh sakes. People with all that time on
their hands should put it to good use like the MVP's in here.
 
This is being done with automated robots. The robots authors have no idea or do they care what type
of site it is.
