I would like to know how to remove my guest user. I'm having trouble removing some folders on my hard drive It says it cannot delete because another user could be using this program. I suspect it could my guest user. Please help, Gord
 
Click Start, right click "my computer" click on "manage"
click on the plus beside local users and groups, click
on "users" right click "guest" click "delete"... hope

Sometimes it could be another program using the file or folder. Is this a multiuser machine? Is it a server? Did you or anyone else run something that could use the file/folder? If so just exiting the program will do it

If it's a strange folder or file it could be a virus that created it.

You can see a list of running programs by going to the task manager and viewing Processes tab. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to quickly get the task manager
