When logged on to my guest account I am unable to access
my internet connection? Is this possible, and how do I do
it?

Dean

This is the designed behavior for a Guest account. This account has almost
no permissions or rights.

A Description of the Guest Account:

There is a work around for this behavior.

Go to: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
Line 32, left column, KeepRAS Connections (FUS).

This fix will modify the system to keep a dial up connection active when
switching users, or even when logging
off. Use the fix, then log on to the computer and establish the connection.
Then use Fast User Switching or log off, and log on to the Guest account.

Hi Dean,

Guest account, by design cannot connect to internet. Cannot initialize a RAS
connection. But it can use an already ON cable/dsl/lan or already connected
dial-up account using Fast user Switching.

Dial-up connections might terminate while switching users, to prevent that
