Can anyone tell me if it's normal that if I unlock the framelimit (from 30
to 60) the game will have difficulties in loading the 3d enviroment in
proper time, meaning that the framerate keeps high, but you can reach a
place and slowly see all the objects being slowly rendered while you are
already near them. The rendering distance is set to max and with the frame
limit on this doesn't happen... any hint?

Yeah thats normal.

When the frame rate is locked it uses the spare cpu time to load the
enviroment.

It's a shame you can't change the locked fps valve to 40 or something
(whatever your computer can handle) as it feels a lot better at higher fps.

totally agree. WHy in god's name is a frame limiter set to 30fps for a PC ?
This is NOT PS2 territory ppl

Well

GTA III for instance is much alike a PS game. And handling of the
objects is much alike a PS game.

Vice City though is partly restructured, as you can see in the cars,
the object mold is way more as a pc game.

I can only guess that part of the PS handling still lies within Vice
City.

Anyhow, for the TS, lower anti-aliasing or aniso. You might just want
to run the game in to high options.

I know....even my P IV at 2Ghz and an nvidia GF4 ti 4800SE has
problems with the game..... I can only guess the core of the game is
not really PC based!
