I have installed GTA2 on Windows XP Home, and it won't work. I have trid
compatibility mode, and nada. It installs pefectly fine, but when you
try to play it, the GTA2 screen pops up for about 10 seconds, and then
closes. Again, I have tried compatibility mode with no luck... anyone
with any ideas, please help me.

Windows XP Home SP1
AMD AthlonXP 2400+ 2.0GHz
128MB DDR2100 RAM
16MB S3 SavageDDR AGP
40GB HDD

Thank you...

Hey Giovanni Palermo,

Well, it might be a problem with your VGA card (Graphics card). You might
need to update the drivers of your VGA card. This solution might be the
answer for you.

If this doesn't work try contacting the company you bought the VGA card
from.

Thanks!

The card has the latest drivers, and it came with the computer... I
don't know...

I had the same problem with Max Payne on XP & downloaded a
patch from the game manufacturers that at least allows me
to run it in compatibility mode. Try 'GTA II + patch' in
a Google search & see what you get.

Hey Givoanni Palermo,

Try downloading the lastest patchs or updates from the GTA 2 website.

Best of Luck!
