Groups are not Shown

Hi All,

I was trying to add a permission to access one of the
folders for a domain local users group. However, when I
press on the 'Add' button in that folder's security tab,
that group is not displayed.

What might be the reason making a group not to appear in
the list of objects when trying to grant permissions.

Local groups are not shown (on non-DCs) in a Mixed
mode (or Win2003 Interim mode domain.)

Are you in "Mixed Mode" on the Domain?

The above is also true for "NT 4 domains" which operate
much like Mixed or Interrim mode domains.
