Hello everyone,

How do you enlarge a column or row group without un-group
the current group or adding another group? I don't think
that it can be done without undoing the current group or
using a macro (which would not be worth it.)

TIA.

Not sure what you mean, but does holding the control key down help you?

Allan,

Ozzie was sender's name on the posting. TIA stands for
thanks in advance.

Please explain what you mean by holding control key down -
while using what other keys?

Hey Ozzie & anonymous,

Yes, you can add and/or remove row(s)/column(s) from a group, without
ungrouping.
That is, if you're talking about the ones at the beginning or end of the
group.
Quite naturally, if you remove one from the middle, you create 2 separate
groups (which you can do with this procedure).

Easiest way to describe this is, if rows 5:10 are grouped, to add Row11,
select Row11 and,
<Shift> <Alt> <RightArrow>.
This works whether the rows are expanded or condensed !

You can add any number of rows and/or columns at the same time, as long as
they're contiguous.
You couldn't, for example, add Row6 and Row11 concurrently.

Removing works the same way, BUT use the <LeftArrow>
