Is there any way to do that? Group a field and then have them side by side
so I can fit it on one page? Example:

Manager 1 Manager 2
---------------------------- ---------------------------
Employee Name 40 Employee Name 40
Employee Name 40 Employee Name 40
Employee Name 40 Employee Name 40
Employee Name 40 Employee Name 40
Total: 160 Total: 160

Not quite sure if this is possible to do it that way as opposed to top to
bottom.
Thanks!

Consider a two column main report that is bound only to managers (no
employees). Create a subreport of employees and place it in the detail
section of the main (managers) report. Set the Link Master/Child to the
Manager ID field.

I can't do a 2 column main report. I already have other stuff there that
takes up the entire top row. And of course the subreport doesn't retain the
page properties in which it was created. Hmmm. What you're saying makes
sense, but I may need to find another way around this.

You could try embed them a couple subreports deep. Not having page header
sections in subreport isn't a problem. The solution is posted probably every
week in this news group.
