Group Rights

I think I already know the answer to this question but thought I'd ask in
case there is a way to do this. What I would like to know is if I belong to
a group, I would like to know what permissions that group has got and where
(Server). At the moment I know that when I belong to a group, I have
read/write rights to the "temp" folder on "serverA", what I would like is
something that does this round the other way, ie. I give a group name and it
goes away and finds files/folders that group has been assigned to and what
rights have been assigned.

There is nothing native to do this, you may find something in the third party
tools that you can buy.

Have a look at Permission Analyzer. The tool enumerates all shares and
permissions per user or user group.
