Group Policy Wallpaper not changing

Having this weird problem with desktop wallpaper not applying and was
hoping someone had some suggestions.

I've installed vanilla XP SP1 and am trying to control the wallpaper
via a W2K DC using 2003 group policy templates. All the policies seem
to take effect on the XP machine but the wallpaper does not change
from the standard Bliss (lovely MS rolling hills and sky) to the
boring corporate logo I've been given. When I go into the display
settings and background of the XP box, hey presto, there's the
corporate wallpaper set as the chosen one.

So, I know the poicies are being applied, but why is the desktop not
changing to reflect this?

Any ideas?

Hi,

If the wallpaper is a JPG, you must have Active Desktop Enabled. Also,
where is the wallpaper file? You need to have the wallpaper .jpg file
in a location that is the same. Eg. Copy it to the Windows Directory
on all the machines or setup the path to point to a mapped drive or a
server.

Cheers,

Lara
