Hi there,

I maintain a SBS 2k3 network of about 20 users, although it is a relatively
small network it is still a chore to go round each individual machine to
change a setting. All the clients are using Outlook 2k3.

I have implemented shared resources so that meeting rooms can be booked,
etc. This works ok apart from several users have asked me if there is a way
of them being able to view someone's calendar before inviting them to a
meeting. I know that you can delegate control to folders and give the
appropriate permission ie read, write, but not all of the users are that
clued up. Also it would be handy that when I create a new user their Outlook
profile automatically shares their calendar.

Would this be possible using an Office .adm template, a transform file or
something similar? Or does anyone else have an alternate solution?

Thanks for any replies,

James.
