I'm trying to set a group policy in exchange so that users
cannot change their home page. I go into active
directory, then I made a new container, made a new user,
and change the user configuration under properties to set
the home page for internet explorer. But it doesn't seem
to take it. Can anyone help??? Thanks.

Steve,

I am very confused by your post. First of all, you do not
create Group Policy in Exchange. This is an Active
Directory thing. You have to make an Organizational Unit,
not a Container, to apply Group Policies. You can not
apply Group Policies to Containers. Otherwise, you would
be able to apply GPOs to the default Users Container and
Computers Container. I am not sure that you can specify a
Home Page for Internet Explorer via Group Policy.
Granted, you can do a lot of things for IE, just not sure
about this one...I know that you can add favorites and
links, though.

It would help to clarify things a bit....

HTH,

Cary
