Hello all,
I have Windows 2000 laptops that run an 802.1x authentication client as a
service and don't get machine policy applied. My guess is that the machine
policy is applied before the service is started. Is there any way to get
the policy to apply before login?

Thanks in advance!
Tyler

Are you using LEAP authentication? LEAP takes place
after login which, if you are applying policy
synchronously, means that on the user policy can now be
applied since the machine policy must complete prior to
pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del
