Hi Experts,

I have only one machine at home running Windows XP prof. I want to use group
policy to change windows components availability to users. My question is:
can I set different policy to different users? For example, I want to apply
strict policy to chichren, but not to myself. How can I achieve this?

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks guys for your reply. I'm wondering why Microsoft group policy editor
doesn't implement that. I also remember there's a tool called X-setup (or
something). Is that for the same purpose?

The Group Policy Editor applies to all users in a non-domain environment. I don't know why MS chose to remove/change that functionality. In 9x systems you could use the Policy Editor (POLEDIT.EXE) and apply restrictions to specific users.
