I am having troubles changing the group policy on a remote PC and I was
wondering if someone knows how to reset the policy remotely?? When I try to
change it using the command line tool I get an error stating that I don't
have permissions but do have admin rights cause I can change the local admin
group contents... Any clues?

You can't change local policy remotely. Well, you *could* use remote
desktop or use some app to spawn a process on the remote machine that could
call the tool you're using.

I should add - that goes for local security policy. I believe some/many
other local policies may be set remotely.
